I've always wanted to build onto the original 'Silver Moon Girl' sketch. Initially, I experimented with adding silver shimmering pigment. The results delighted me and the idea sprouted in my head to explore other ways to translate all the various emotions and dreamy longings that inspired, and are amplified by, this little drawing.
This custom print is made with a mix of shimmering violet acrylic, Polychromos and Luminance coloured pencils.
A4 (21 x 27.9 cm; approx 8 x 10in); archival textured Hahnemuehle German etching paper 310gsm. The light plays off the paper beautifully! Please note that due to the nature of shimmering surfaces, photos may not capture the full effect.
